The Providers at the Underserved Primary Care Clinic will serve non-emergent patient cases and provide comprehensive care in an office based/community health clinic-type setting. We are actively recruiting a qualified full-time (1.0 FTE) board-certified Family Practice (w/OB a plus) Physician to join our team. The Physician will be responsible for performing health assessments, identifying actual and health needs based on medical, mental/emotional, financial and social factors, minor outpatient procedures, effectively managing chronic diseases in a challenging population and developing treatment plans which may include prescribing medication, ordering diagnostic tests, recommending various treatment modalities, obtaining consultation and making referrals. An active Washington State Medical license and Federal DEA are required. Experience working with individuals of varying ethnicities, socio-economic levels, cultures, and sexual orientation is preferred. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience working in a primary care setting.
